TeenSTRENGTHThese classes provide any environment for your teen & their friends to enjoy being active together whilst building strength and learning the foundations to move well. They begin in the TeenFITNESS group and after consistent good movement through body weight workouts they will be invited move up to the TeenSTRENGTH group where they are now ready to add load (weights) to those same movements to continue to improve their strength. All teens are supervised & coached by qualified professional youth coaches. These classes are very well suited to all levels, especially those kids who aren’t in sports and want a fun opportunity to be active and challenge themselves.
BASE Body weight strength, fun fitness & conditioning through structured PLAY Learning and building confidence in foundation movement skills & physical literacy Introduction of the primal movement patterns – hinge, squat, push, pull, lunge, core BUiLD Body weight strength, fitness & conditioning Mastering primal movement patterns – hinge, squat, push, pull, lunge, core Beginning to combine & experiment with linking movement patterns and moving external objects BOOST Strength training – Supervised low intensity The Boost group are ready to add load & intensity to their developed ‘consistent perfect technique’ of the primal movement patterns mastered in the Build Stage Your teen will be ‘invited’ to join this group when they have ‘earnt the right’ to add load & intensity to their focussed perfect technique & ability to follow instruction When: Tuesday & Thursday @6pm Ages: 13-18yrs Membership Options: 1 class/week = $19.50/week 2 class/week = $24.50/week2 class/week = $24.50/week |
